THE SPIRIT OF A PATH FINDER
Frontiers Paper 001. Understanding the Frontier By Jeph Prince Wamboka
WHAT IS A FRONTIER?
A frontier is a boundary or edge of what is known, developed, or explored—the place where the familiar ends and something new begins.
In simple terms
A frontier is the point beyond which there is new territory, new opportunity, and new possibility to discover.
Three basic meanings
1. Geographical
A frontier can be a boundary between two regions or territories.
Example: The frontier between two countries.
2. Exploration
A frontier can be an area that has not yet been fully explored, developed, or understood.
Example: Space is humanity's next frontier.
3. Ideas & Progress
A frontier can be a new area of knowledge, leadership, innovation, opportunity, or social development.
A frontier represents uncharted territory that requires vision, courage, initiative, and a willingness to pioneer new paths.
It is where people move beyond what has always been done and begin asking:
What else is possible?
What can we build?
What can we change?
What can we leave for the next generation?
