Darlington Sakwa during the final send-off of the late Mrs. Robina Nambuya Wetaya in Busoba, a high-profile gathering attended by many dignitaries. The late Mrs. Wetaya was Wamboka’s aunt and a daughter of the late Nyote Zacharia of Bukhalu, making the occasion deeply personal for the Wamboka family. The encounter also carries a special significance. Eng. Sakwa is an old boy of both Nabumali Boarding Primary School and Nabumali High School, institutions that Mr. Wamboka also attended. Beyond their shared school heritage, Eng. Sakwa has, in his own quiet and distant way, played a meaningful role in shaping Wamboka’s community leadership outlook and political philosophy at different stages of his journey. Some encounters are more than moments. They are reminders of where we come from, those who shaped us, and the legacy we are called to carry forward.

Jeph Prince Wamboka joined the family, friends, teachers, students and the wider community of Bukhalu Seed School to mourn and lay to rest Solomon Odeke, a senior 3 student of the school who passed away following complications related to sickle cell disease. Solomon was laid to rest at Kocus, Bukedea County, Bukedea District. Hon. Wamboka extends his heartfelt condolences to Solomon’s family, the entire Bukhalu Seed School fraternity, and everyone affected by this painful loss. Bukhalu Seed School is among the government institutions established through the contribution of the Nyote family, alongside Nyote Memorial Primary School and Nabongo Secondary School.
