Ramaphosa Meets Trump, Talks Crime, Farms, and Fancy Tech
The Frontiers Post
Washington, D.C. — President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa wrapped up his meeting with former U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House, where the two engaged in what sources describe as "cordial banter with occasional confusion."
In the press room, Ramaphosa was hit with questions about the alleged persecution of white farmers back home. The meeting later took on an unexpected twist when Trump ordered that videos of malema pledging to kill white settlers be played. With the calm of a seasoned school principal, Rhamaposa clarified that the issue is “more about criminals being criminals” than a racially charged conspiracy. “We’ve got a crime problem, not a race problem,” he said, subtly dodging the global political minefield like a pro.
Not missing a beat, Ramaphosa pivoted to sales mode. “While we’re here,” he basically said, “how about some investment? Maybe a few drones, crime-fighting tech, or a couple of billionaire buddies to help out?”
Trump nodded, smiled, and according to insiders, responded with something about "big beautiful technology" and “maybe a golf course.”
The two leaders plan to continue chatting in private, away from the microphones—possibly over steak, or something less politically charged—before Ramaphosa flies back to South Africa with a suitcase full of talking points and hopefully a few signed checks.
