THE FRONTIERS POST  Opposition leader Hon. Joel Senyonyi, in a televised interview, alleged that police fired a tear gas canister at Hon. Kyagulanyi Sentamu, popularly known as Bobi Wine, from close range, causing a severe leg injury and shrapnel wounds across his body. The incident occurred during a thanksgiving event hosted by Mr. George Musisi in Bulindo, Wakiso District. As Bobi Wine passed through Bulindo town, large crowds gathered, prompting the police to disperse them. Senyonyi criticized the police for releasing a statement that he claimed misrepresented the event. He further reported that although Bobi Wine is no longer in immediate danger, he remains in significant pain and has been admitted to the hospital.
